GOVERNMENT RECORDS

I am not sure if there is a file or a dossier on me among the CIA records or archives and even if there is, probably what it contains, if anything, is not worth knowing about me. But other records and files on me or about me undoubtedly exist in such agencies as: the US Army, the IRS, the FBI, Social Security,MEDICARE, USPS, and so forth.

  1. Early this morning in my almost 'daily review' I went over some things in my past and realized some things I had forgotten, probably not worth mentioning, but one of them was that perhaps there exists some files or folders or references to me in some of the government agencies and departments of THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT and possibly one or maybe two in other governments somewhere outside the US. I have no way to know and don't really care as none as yet have impinged on me directly. As documents and records become converted to 'electronic' formats possible errors will creep in and emerge and when the documents are shredded, as is likely to happen, corrections will perhaps be impossible.

  2. I went over facets of my military service and recalled several things, such as, my interest in languages, beginning with Spanish when my cousin, Becky, was taking it in high school. I learned a few words from her and from the various movies I saw, such as, the Cisco Kid or those with Tim Holt and his sidekick: 'Chito,Rafferty,etc.etc. as well as other films with Xavier Cugat and Carmen Miranda and other films, like Disney's TRES CABALLEROS & SALUDOS AMIGOS, to name but a few influences. I took Spanish in high school, and then audited a course in College to pass the language requirement test for graduation. In the military, I took a course in Spanish and received a 'skill-digit' to place with my MOS at the time and then had to have it removed in order to keep my top secret clearance. There was one other clearance that had more weight and that was TOP SECRET WITH CRYPTO-CLEARANCE, which I was glad not to have in some ways, although I had been given instructions and orientations in such. I did not like or appreciate the coding and decoding, deciphering process one had to undertake in such areas. I felt it was far too monotonous and mechanical as well as possibly nerve-wracking and also required shift work as opposed to daytime work, etc.
