THE OSS- PART 1

The Office of Strategic Services was the forerunner of the CIA and was headed up by "WILD BILL" Donovan during WWII. There is a tendency by moderns to downgrade somewhat the significance of the OSS and its now seemingly 'outdated' and 'bizarre' methods, at least when it comes to hand-to-hand combat, shooting, and killing,despite a revival of interest in some quarters.
